Abstract
In the midst of the transformation of thought that the renaissance implied in fifteenth-century Europe, a different, irreverent, visionary gaze emerges, which, from the perspective of cultural openness, appreciation and validation of what is different, and respect for the different religious visions, dares to break the paradigms. That brilliant mind was Giovanni Pico Della Mirándola, a humanist, representative of modern man in the process of emerging. In this work, an analysis of his text "Discourse on the dignity of man" is made from an interpretive perspective and thus be able to trace the different religious and mystical belief systems, as well as philosophical visions that he alludes to in his narration and the coordinates that exist between them.
